We will follow the roots of tea from field to cup, exploring its origins, how it’s made, and proper brewing techniques. We will examine the six types of true tea, tasting and discovering how teas get their uniqueness and characteristics. This is perfect for anyone interested in all things tea or beverage, novice or experienced.
Alicia Gentili has been working in the tea industry for over 15 years, spanning its development from plant to cup. Having processed tea in eight different countries, she has a profound relationship with tea. She has her tea sommelier certificate from the United Kingdom Tea Academy, and is passionate about tea education and incorporating tea into daily wellbeing.
Farm Art: Follow the tea tasting with dried flower and garlic arranging. Using flowers and garlic grown on site, participants will go home withe a one-of-a-kind arrangement.
Event will be held both inside the farmhouse and in the geodesic dome greenhouse at Fat Peach Farm.
